  ...July 24, 2007: I actually woke up feeling like I had some energy and, while I still have the cruds, the symptoms do seem to be reduced substantially compared to a few days ago. After 4 hours of "napping" I managed to get up and walk around feeling a bit better (I was still alive, ha, ha) and then the major nausea hit. It's pathetic to think of taking something like this for years, and finding myself to be an old person trying to get off of it. I feel sorry for you folks that got diarrhea - talk about dehydration!!! I can't imagine lengthy bouts of diarrhea without going and getting IV fluid replacement. My psychiatrist only wanted me on the 2 of them for 2 weeks, which is why I have run out of cymbalta and my doctor is not in the office today and hasn't been for the whole weekend, which is why I have been off cymbalta since friday. Had it not been for my extremely understanding and supportive husband, and finding another site (check out healtdiaries. I was lying on the couch crying the other day because I was in so much pain I didn't want to walk. The effects of coming off of Cymbalta are horrendous - worse than any other med that I have taken.
